Lindsey Stirling is the best non-vocal show. Ever.
I saw Don Toliver on her previous tour almost two years ago, and she has definitely upped the production value of her show. The music sounded amazing. Lindsey was sick, but she still came out with energy and enthusiasm for her fans. Don Toliver was dancing all over the place, with some incredible lifts (and yes she continued to play while she was in the air). I wouldn't have minded a simple show, but she has added a lot, between backup dancers to multiple screens.
The event was clearly understaffed, with one staff member noting that she was told by her boss that this was a General Admission only show, but when they got there they found out it was GA floor plus assigned seats. Overall, the only complaint was with the Masonic Temple -- the event said the doors opened at 6pm, but they didn't let people in until 7pm. Once in the door at about 7:15pm, it took until 7:55pm to get to our seats because not all of the aisle doors were open, and there was mass confusion for who the attendees trying to figure out how to get to their seat.
