Fiddler On The Roof Mississauga Theatre reviews
Oh, say can you see?
The concert, what little we could see of it, was fantastic. However, the venue, and in particular the crowd control, was terrible. Our seats, adjacent to an aisle in the Orchestra section, should have afforded us, and everyone around us, an excellent view of the stage. Unfortunately, fans were permitted to stand in the aisles and other areas, blocking views of the stage. One in particular, two rows in front of us, insisted on standing and dancing, at her seat and in the aisle, waving her hands up into the air. She was permitted to continue this activity throughout the entire concert even after she was approached by security. This woman pretended to only speak French, but was very fluently allowed to cuss at us and make obscene hand gestures in response to our complaint. And still "security" did nothing. All of the patrons adjacent to us in our aisle up and left barely half an hour into the concert. The fans behind us were equally miffed at the half-hearted attempt by security to do anything. Consequently, we could barely see anything of Madonna or her dancers throughout the entire show. This was all extremely disappointing, especially after looking forward to the event for months, and spending a small fortune on tickets, travel and accommodations. We have attended six Madonna concerts all at South Florida venues and this concert experience ranks as the worst that we have ever had, at any venue, for any entertainer, ever. Now I find myself anxious for the release of the concert video so I can see what I missed.
