Five Finger Death Punch Mississauga Concert reviews
Terrible Sound, Ruined Concert
The venue was having issues with sound the entire concert. The first band's power cut out in their first song, and it took a little bit to get it back up. They were just hard to hear after that. It was hard to hear the Hu the whole time they were playing. I was seated in the Lawn section, and it just sounded very muffled. Poor Megadeth had their entire set ruined by the sound/power going out. They only got to play maybe 4 songs and their sound didn't improve even when they got it back up and running.
Five Finger sounded a little better, but the sound was still very muffled and hard to hear. I've never had an experience like this at Usana. Of course the whole last half of the show was ruined because of a transformer being hit in a car accident, so I get that isn't the venue's fault, but there was no communication as to what was happening. Many of us waited around for an update or any kind of word as to what was happening and most of us just ended up leaving disappointed.
Ultimately, I do not blame any of the bands that played, I feel like they did the best they had to work with. Despite the problems with the show, they still put their heart into the show which I appreciate as a fan. This review is solely based upon the venue.
I'm very disappointed in how the venue's sound was the entire show. Even before the show ended because of an unforeseen accident, I still feel like this concert was a waste of my money. And I know I probably won't get any kind of refund, but I really hope the venue takes this off season to get their equipment fixed. Until then, I do not plan on returning to a concert at this venue. I will go elsewhere, even out of state, before I put my money back into Usana.
