Caamp Mississauga Concert reviews
The Pink Floyd Circus
The visual portion of the show, using the Pink Floyd catalogue of music as a vehicle to carry their message, was presented non-stop on the monstrous size screen behind the band with unique distorted chromatic images.
The revised band line-up made for a tour-de-force musical experience not to be missed, from the previous Wall tour.
Sonic bliss! The two new vocalists on this tour performed an extended and refreshing take on "Great Gig".
I can honestly say that, myself a veteran Floyd concert attendee through the years, it was the most powerful musical rendition of the "Animals" Songs ever.
The 4 channel sound system and the limited use of lazers made them all that more stunning when utilized, used sparingly and to good effect.
Regardless of ones own political inclination, my only observation of the overtly anti-right theme was that even the "never Trump" camp would agree that it was so over the top that it rendered his message ineffective (fully expected by everyone).
Caamp has a passion to share with humanity reminders that there is hope in a world which sometimes defies logic, and that is truly the definition of a great concert where one could attend this show blindfolded and still be totally blown away by the music itself.
